About Us

In 1962, Mary visited Israel as a young teenager and met me, Jacob, in Tel-aviv, while

I was serving the Israeli army as a paratrooper. Two years later, I went for a visit to Kansas City, where Mary is from. Six months later in 1964, we got married. For 15 years I worked in the garment industry as a cutter. Then, after the garment industry moved over seas, my wife Mary and I decided to go into the fabric business. In 1979, we opened our store and decided to name it Addadi's Fabrics.

We have two sons, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. All of them have worked, work, or will work at the store on Saturdays to keep the store family oriented.
